On Tuesday December 1, 2009 Provence Catering will be part of an incredible venue holiday party showcasing the magic of Duportail House in Chesterbrook. http://www.duportailhouse.com/. The hidden gem of a venue dates back to 1740 and features incredible walk-in fireplaces as well as incredible grounds. Duportail is the perfect venue for corporate or social events and is the perfect setting for a boutique wedding. Adjacent to Valley Forge Park and minutes to Rt. 202, 76, 476 & 422 the location is perfect for guests travelling from out of the area. In addition it is minutes to many area hotel and attractions so is certainly a destination venue for long weekend events.

Their chic bridal fashions are the favorites of movie stars, glamour queens and the girl next store. The Knot selected Provence to be sole caterer at this extremely high-end fashion show reception at Pronovias for our remarkable food, beautiful presentation style and world class service. The guests loved the themed rooms including Holiday Entertaining, Baby Showers, Ageless Creatures (Birthdays Room), The Mitzvah Room & The Man Cave (80's Room). Each room was uniquely decorated and styled with its own delicious cuisine. The party was slow to end as the guests did not want to leave. A sure sign of a great party! Proof that if you want a great result and a successful event, you need to put great players on the field! Last night, Provence Catering was on the field with so many other great players!

We at Provence Catering are fortunate to have an outstanding Pastry Chef & a true cake specialist! Chef Nicole's work is not only a feast for the eyes but a sensation for the taste buds as well. The only greater sin than cutting into these sensational creations would be to not enjoy there incredible richness and flavor. All great meals conclude with a sensational ending & we could imagine no better ending than one of Chef Nicole's masterpieces.

Having learned & studied under Robert Bennett, a Pastry Master in his own right, Nicole has gone on to develop her own style and brand. Provence Catering wows everyone at the Board Dinner for Abramson Cancer Center

Last week we catered a multi-day event for the Abramson Cancer Center , including their Board Dinner and everything was a rousing success. Rave reviews were extended for our world class service and spectacular five star cuisine. We were honored to be an important part of this groundbreaking meeting as some of the finest oncologists in the world met to discuss treatment protocols and priorities in their war against cancer.

The esteemed doctors, nurses and administrators at this NCI facility are doing cutting edge research that is saving lives everyday. The City of Philadelphia is blessed with some of the best medical research facilities on the planet and their work is one of the primary reasons that our local economy has remained so strong in the face of the worst financial crisis since 1929.




Provence was asked to cater this high profile event because of our unwavering commitment to customer service and exceptional food. This was a no nonsense event and we understood that our team's performance was vital to the success of this executive meeting. Excellent service was particularly crucial for this event since it was working board dinner that lasted late into the evening. Working discreetly and quietly was imperative as important work was interspersed with a decadent chocolate dessert and wine service.

After a networking and poster board cocktail reception, the board members dined on aged Filet Mignon stuffed with Boursin Cheese perfectly cooked by Chef Greg. One world famous and discerning oncologist from CHOP said the rare filet prepared by Provence Catering was "one of the best" he had ever eaten.

We were very proud. Who wouldn't be? This megaphysician has been called a genius before many times so this was pretty high praise.

The truth be told, we love feeding Super Stars. Especially smart ones' who know great food and dedicate their lives to saving children.

Elkins Estate

Provence Catering is proud to announce that it has been added to the exclusive list of caterers at the incredible Elkins Estate. This incredible venue which is perfectly suited for any corporate or social event has seating for 220 in the grand ballroom or even more guests for a cocktail event utilizing the library, music room & ballroom. The incredible marble staircases and mantles as well as the perfectly restored floors and beautiful wall coverings make this venue the New Grand Dame of estates in Philadelphia.
