For the fourth year in a row, we will be proudly participating in the 8th annual Epicurean Palette fundraiser on September 13th, 2009 at the Grounds for Sculpture. This is one of our favorite showcase events, not only because it's an amazing display of food and wine throughout the magnificently landscaped 35 acre sculpture garden, but for the third year in a row our two remarkable children will play a key role in working this upscale lawn party.

They are a huge help on every level and this unique event is a very creative environment for everyone. No wine for the second editions, but they certainly enjoy the sensational gourmet cuisine.

We have been catering five-star receptions, especially weddings, at the GFS for over 4 years and it's a special venue. This is their annual charity event to support their worthy mission to promote the appreciation of contemporary sculpture. It's really just one big elegant party!
There are a plethora of fantastic wines to savor and an endless bounty of gastronomic delights to enjoy as hundreds of guests leisurely stroll along the fantasy-like paths of the GFS like they are on their merry way to the Emerald City. Only with a glass of Chardonnay and some incredible food from Provence Catering in hand.

The skies may have been gloomy around Philadelphia today, but the sun is certainly smiling on us. This has been a sensational week so far for Provence Catering and our 3G approach to high-end, off-premise catering.

With an unwavering commitment to "Perfect Works Just Fine," our catering sales are booming. We closed new business everyday this week. Friday was our most successful day yet, as we won three significant victories today alone.

1. We booked our first event at prestigious university with many more to follow.

2. We were asked to cater a very upscale 5 star reception for 250 VIP guests in early 2010. Much more information to follow. This will be big!

3. Provence was awarded a 550 person upscale cocktail reception taking place in two weeks.
This was a very sweet win as we beat out two other worthy competitors. Must be the 3G's.

We love closing new business on Friday afternoon. We also love closing new business on the weekend as well. Gene is meeting with three beautiful brides this weekend. He is on fire and it's contagious!

All of our well-earned success is due to our incredible employees. Great job everyone!

We have just hired two exceptionally talented chefs as event planners to work closely with our expanding client base. Both of these individuals are excited about the working with our culinary team to provide a five star dining experience to all our clients.

Sharon is a CIA graduate and she's a very talented chef with some amazing new menu ideas. Stephanie is a graduate of The Restaurant School and also an exceptional chef with a never-ending desire to spoil her clients. They both have a fantastic energy, tons of experience and great listening skills.

As the top secret plans for the new Provence Galleria are being finalized, significant attention is being paid to many areas of gastronomy including culinary education. The curriculum for our cooking classes are being fine tuned and we expect to announce our 2010 class schedule this fall.

With a creative international focus, our cooking classes will be available in private, semi-private and group lessons. A Wine tasting lesson and/or dinner is available up request. Invitation-only Guest Chef seminars are planned as well.

It's always wonderful to be alone in the spotlight with all of those beautiful brides. All of the talented event planners at Provence relished the attention as the brides expressed their shear delight in finding a quality caterer like Provence to work closely on for their upcoming nuptials.

All we can say is WOW!!! Last evening's Knottie summer soiree at the stylish Chestnut Club in Philadelphia was a remarkable event and a huge success for Provence Catering. Over 200 beautiful brides enjoyed this PRIVATE bridal networking reception hosted by The Knot featuring the highly-acclaimed world class cuisine of Provence Catering.The team of top-flight event professionals from The Knot did an exceptional job planning and executing this this EXCLUSIVE groundbreaking party. They were thrilled with the spectacular work of Provence Catering.

As the invited guests eagerly entered the captivating Chestnut Club, the brides were blown away Provence's fantastically sublime presentation style that featured a delicious small plates tasting menu. The vibrant florals provided by Natural Designs were especially elegant and inviting. When combined with Provence's epicurean magic, this dynamic duo beautifully complimented the warm ambiance of the Chestnut Club.


The discerning brides loved the chic designer plates, refined glassware and elegant white linens provided by Dave of Select Rentals. Dave's team was a pleasure to work with and very helpful.

All we can say is WOW!!! Last evening's Knottie summer soiree at the stylish Chestnut Club in Philadelphia was a remarkable event and a huge success for Provence Catering. Over 200 beautiful brides enjoyed this PRIVATE bridal networking reception hosted by The Knot featuring the highly-acclaimed world class cuisine of Provence Catering.The team of top-flight event professionals from The Knot did an exceptional job planning and executing this this EXCLUSIVE groundbreaking party. They were thrilled with the spectacular work of Provence Catering.

As the invited guests eagerly entered the captivating Chestnut Club, the brides were blown away Provence's fantastically sublime presentation style that featured a delicious small plates tasting menu. The vibrant florals provided by Natural Designs were especially elegant and inviting. When combined with Provence's epicurean magic, this dynamic duo beautifully complimented the warm ambiance of the Chestnut Club.


The discerning brides loved the chic designer plates, refined glassware and elegant white linens provided by Dave of Select Rentals. Dave's team was a pleasure to work with and very helpful.

We look forward to many more events at the Chestnut Club and here is last evening's sensational menu.
