Last week we catered a multi-day event for the Abramson Cancer Center , including their Board Dinner and everything was a rousing success. Rave reviews were extended for our world class service and spectacular five star cuisine. We were honored to be an important part of this groundbreaking meeting as some of the finest oncologists in the world met to discuss treatment protocols and priorities in their war against cancer.

The esteemed doctors, nurses and administrators at this NCI facility are doing cutting edge research that is saving lives everyday. The City of Philadelphia is blessed with some of the best medical research facilities on the planet and their work is one of the primary reasons that our local economy has remained so strong in the face of the worst financial crisis since 1929.




Provence was asked to cater this high profile event because of our unwavering commitment to customer service and exceptional food. This was a no nonsense event and we understood that our team's performance was vital to the success of this executive meeting. Excellent service was particularly crucial for this event since it was working board dinner that lasted late into the evening. Working discreetly and quietly was imperative as important work was interspersed with a decadent chocolate dessert and wine service.

After a networking and poster board cocktail reception, the board members dined on aged Filet Mignon stuffed with Boursin Cheese perfectly cooked by Chef Greg. One world famous and discerning oncologist from CHOP said the rare filet prepared by Provence Catering was "one of the best" he had ever eaten.

We were very proud. Who wouldn't be? This megaphysician has been called a genius before many times so this was pretty high praise.

The truth be told, we love feeding Super Stars. Especially smart ones' who know great food and dedicate their lives to saving children.
